From my research, I've found that dressage is a more popular discipline than hunter/jumper. From one poll I've found that 26.3% of the people who voted ride dressage(How do you use your horses?). The same poll stated that 12.9% of the users rode hunter and 10.6% jumpers(How do you use your horse?). Even adding the hunter and jumper percentages together, there are still less hunter/jumper riders than dressage in the research I've found.
